Initiative Tracker
Run the whole fight from one screen — turn order, rounds, HP, and conditions. Your encounter saves itself in this browser, so you can set it up before the session and it'll still be here at the table.
Enter adds too. Same name twice? It auto-numbers — Goblin, Goblin 2, Goblin 3.
Ties keep the order you added them in — nudge with a decimal (15.5 beats 15) if your table rules differently. Everything here stays on this device.
Need to roll initiative first? Open the dice roller →Run combat faster at the table
Most combat slowdown isn't rules — it's bookkeeping. Whose turn is it, what round are we on, how hurt is the ogre, and wasn't somebody poisoned? This tracker keeps all four answers on one screen so the game master can spend the pause between turns describing the fight instead of reconstructing it.
Set up before the session
Add your players and the monsters for tonight's encounter ahead of time — the tracker saves itself in your browser, so it's still loaded when the fight actually starts. When initiative is rolled, type the values in and the order sorts itself.
Conditions are the thing everyone forgets
Poisoned, prone, frightened, concentrating — the effects that quietly fall off the table's collective memory two rounds after they land. Tag them on the combatant and they stay visible every time that turn comes around.
Works with whatever you play
Names, initiative values, hit points, rounds, and free-text conditions are the common core of nearly every tabletop RPG. Nothing here assumes a specific ruleset, so the same tracker works for your fantasy campaign, your horror one-shot, and the homebrew system your group half-invented.
Does this initiative tracker work for games other than D&D?
Yes. It tracks names, initiative values, hit points, rounds, and conditions — the pieces almost every tabletop RPG shares — without assuming any ruleset. Use it for D&D, Pathfinder, Call of Cthulhu, or any homebrew system.
Will my encounter still be here if I close the tab?
Yes. The encounter saves itself in your browser's local storage on every change, so you can close the tab mid-session and pick up exactly where you left off — same combatants, same round, same turn. It stays on this device and browser; nothing is uploaded anywhere.
How are ties in initiative handled?
Combatants with the same initiative keep the order you added them in. If your table breaks ties differently, nudge one combatant's initiative by a decimal — 15.5 sorts above 15.
Is this initiative tracker free?
Yes — free, no ads, no signup, and it runs entirely in your browser. Nothing you enter is sent anywhere; your encounter is stored only on your own device.
