Creator Business OS

This makes the invoice. Business OS runs everything around it — track which clients you've billed, what's been paid, and the projects behind each invoice, all in one Notion command center built for people running a business solo.

How to make an invoice

A good invoice does three jobs: it makes clear who's billing whom, it itemizes the work so there are no surprises, and it states exactly what's owed and by when. This tool covers all three, and lets you brand it with your own letterhead so it looks like it came from your business — not a generic template.

Add your letterhead (or just your name)

Upload a 16:9 image — a banner version of your logo works best — and it sits across the top of the invoice. No image? Type your business name and it becomes a clean text header instead. Either way you get a professional result.

List the work

Add a line for each item with a description, quantity, and rate. The amounts and subtotal update as you type, and you can add tax, a discount, and a shipping or service fee if you need them.

Print or save as PDF

When it looks right, hit Print and choose "Save as PDF." The editor disappears and only the clean invoice prints, ready to email to your client.

Nothing leaves your device

Every part of this runs in your browser. Your letterhead image is read locally and never uploaded, and none of your invoice details are stored or sent anywhere. It's the same privacy-first, local approach we believe business tools should take.

Is this invoice generator really free with no signup?

Yes — no account, no signup, no email. Fill it in and print or save as PDF straight from your browser. Free and ad-free.

Does my letterhead image or invoice data get uploaded anywhere?

No. Everything happens in your browser. The image is read locally and never sent to a server, and no invoice details are stored or transmitted. Close the tab and it's gone.

What size should my letterhead image be?

A 16:9 image (e.g. 1600×900) gives the cleanest banner. No image? Type your business name and it's used as the header instead.

How do I save the invoice as a PDF?

Click Print, then choose "Save as PDF" as the destination. The form controls hide automatically so only the invoice prints.
